1. Park on Level Ground: Ensure your car is on a flat surface and the engine is turned off. Let it cool for a few minutes.
2. Check the Oil Level: Use the dipstick to check the current oil level. Wipe it clean, insert it back, and pull it out again to see the level.
3. Drain Old Oil (If Changing): Place a drain pan under the oil plug, remove the plug, and let the old oil drain completely.
4. Replace the Oil Filter (If Needed): Remove the old oil filter, apply a little fresh oil to the new filter’s gasket, and install it firmly.
